It's been a while

I'm so bad.  I've been completely ignoring my blog.  So,  I've been busy trying my hand at different jewelry techniques.  The latest has been wire wrapping.  It takes time, but I do enjoy it.   Here's one of my designs....

I have also been doing altered art/resin pendants.  That's fun.  I feel like a chemist.

Happy Birthday!

Today is my oldest's birthday.  He is 17.  So many thoughts run through my mind today.  I don't feel old enough to have a child that is almost an adult.  Where have 17 years gone?!  Just yesterday he was toddling and playing with his dinosaurs and dump trucks.   Today, he is several inches taller than me, talking of going away to college next year, with big dreams for his future.  If I think too long, I cry.

Good Monday morning!

Well, I should say afternoon since it is 12:35 here.  It's a lovely day in E. Tn, 64 and sunny.  I have my windows open for some fresh air.   I haven't gotten a lot accomplished so far today.  I've been busy making this --- 

I guess it's time I sit down and actually work.   I'd so much rather be making things though!
